Band Kids is a children's television program broadcast by the Brazilian channel Rede Bandeirantes since August 14, 2000. The program began with dedicated to anime broadcast, competing with children's programming from other Brazilian channels, and triggering a by Anime fandom in Brazil during its first years of broadcast. During this time many popular anime such as Dragon Ball Z, Bucky, El-Hazard, Tenchi Muyo and Saint Seiya were displayed. A few years after he lost his audience and was forgotten only to be returning several years later popular since 2009 when it began transmitting cartoons, teen dramas and teen sitcoms of american children's channels, such as Futurama, Drake & Josh, Kenan & Kel, iCarly, The Simpsons and Violetta. After some time he was off the air and then returned, competing with several other children's programs "clones" as TV Kids (RedeTV!) and Record Kids (Rede Record) and beating other popular children's programs such as TV Globinho and Bom Dia & Companhia.
